Culinaria, San Antonio’s wine and culinary arts organization, announces its annual Culinaria Restaurant Week, August 16-23, 2014. Reformatted for 2014, Restaurant Week features new multi-tier offerings at varying price points, plus the addition of popular San Antonio food trucks named Restaurant Week on the Move.
More than 50 restaurants, many featuring San Antonio’s well-regarded chefs, will offer three-course prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner. Some of the city’s most time-honored restaurants, along with buzz-worthy newcomers, are participating.
Tier One offerings are $15 for lunch and $35 for dinner; Tier Two offerings are $10 for lunch and $25 for dinner; Tier Three – Restaurant Week on the Move (food trucks) are $8 for lunch and $15 for dinner, with trucks parked at Travis Park in downtown San Antonio. Reservations are recommended for Tiers One and Two and should be booked directly with a restaurant.
“We are delighted to be working again with some of San Antonio’s best restaurants and partnering with the CVB to showcase the city’s amazingly diverse culinary scene,” said Suzanne Taranto Etheredge, President & CEO of Culinaria. “Restaurant Week stimulates excitement about our wide range of choices when it comes to excellent food and wine. These specially priced menus make dining at your favorites a different experience and offer affordability when it comes to fine dining.”
From each menu purchased, restaurants will donate money to Culinaria, a not-for-profit, and the educational and community programs it supports.
