San Antonio Offers Major League Baseball During Sports Lovers Weekend, March 28-31

Sports enthusiasts can enjoy a jam-packed weekend in San Antonio, Thursday, March 29 through Sunday, March 31. With Major League Baseball, NBA basketball, AHL hockey and NCAA championships, there is something for everyone.

Texas Rangers fans no longer have to travel to Phoenix to get in on the pre-season action. March 29-30, Major League Baseball comes to the Alamodome for the first time ever as the TexasRangers challenge the San Diego Padres in a two-game exhibition. Serving as a final tune-up before the regular season gets underway, this baseball lover’s dream series is expected to draw MLB fans from across the region.

Plus, it promises to be a nail-biting weekend for the San Antonio Spurs, who currently have the best record in the NBA. The AT&T Center will be jumping as the Spurs take on two of the league’s best teams: the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday, March 29 and LeBron James and the Miami Heat on Sunday, March 31.
