San Antonio Cocktail Conference Offers Top Classes and Events

The fourth annual San Antonio Cocktail Conference, January 15-18, 2015, brings together spirits enthusiasts and industry experts alike for cocktail education, tasting events, competitions and more, all celebrating the art of the cocktail.
San Antonio’s conference is the only one of its kind in Texas and quickly becoming noted as one of the major cocktail events in the nation.
This year includes another variety of diverse, fun and educational events: Barbecue and bourbon, or sherry and oysters are offered are among the paired dinners at some of San Antonio’s finest restaurants. On Friday night, a new event, Waldorf on the Prairie, combines all the sophistication and elegance of the newly renovated St. Anthony Hotel with the rustic appeal of Texas. On Saturday evening, attendees can take a Stroll on Houston Street, on downtown’s historic street, with glittering restaurant tastings and bars.
Top national and local mixologists offer full days of seminars that appeal to cocktail beginners and aficionados alike. Evening events range from cocktail and chef tastings to the Original Cocktail Competition.
A charitable event, all proceeds benefit four children’s charities: The Children’s Shelter,
ChildSafe, HeartGift San Antonio, and Transplants for Children.
