Mala Luna Music Festival Announces Full Schedule

SAN ANTONIO, TX (October 19, 2017) ­- ScoreMore Shows is thrilled to announce today the full performance schedule for Mala Luna Music Festival. The second annual event is set to take place on Saturday and Sunday, October 28 and 29 of Halloween weekend at Nelson Wolff Stadium (Parking Lot) in San Antonio, Texas.

Two-day and single-day GA tickets & various VIP packages are on sale now at Those ticket buyers interested in avoiding box office lines at the festival are highly encouraged to exchange their ticket for a wristband ahead of time beginning Wednesday, October 25 through Friday, October 27 from 3 - 7 p.m. at Alamo City Music Hall (1305 E Houston St., San Antonio, TX 78205).

Day 1 on Saturday, October 28 will be headlined by Lil Wayne, who will take the stage after performances earlier in the day from Wiz Khalifa, Carnage, Playboi Carti, Kali Uchis, Ugly God, Smokepurpp, and others. Sunday, October 29 will see a weekend closing performance from Future which will help round out another day of top-notch hip-hop and EDM talent, including Migos, Afrojack, Khalid, Borgore, and Trae Tha Truth, among others.

This year’s footprint has expanded to incorporate two separate stages, aptly named the Lone Star Stage and The Beat Stage. Ticket buyers won’t have to miss out on a single music set throughout the entire festival weekend as the acts are staggered so that none of the performances overlap. Additionally, Mala Luna is revealing today the full slate of local merchants, food vendors, and live visual artists set to participate at this year’s fest. Local merchants and shops onsite will include Glass House Gallery, Serotonin presenting Kushn, Buena Vida, Southtown Skateboards, and Stay Tooned. Festival-goers will also have the opportunity to taste a wide variety of delicious bites from across the host city of San Antonio. 2017 participating food vendors are set to include Newk's Eatery, Purple Pig BBQ, Big Poppa's, Kettle Kings, The Box Street Social, The Original Taste of the Caribbean, CornHub, WingIT, Heros Gyros, JBW Vending, Shawarma Point, Wholly Cow Burgers, Frank, Big Daddy's, Kona Ice, D & D Kettle Corn, Lemonade Co., Davila's BBQ, Lupita's Gorditas, and Jugo Juicery.

Similar to last year’s event, Mala Luna will again welcome an eclectic group of local artists to present several live art activations onsite. This group includes critically-acclaimed artists from San Antonio, Soupe (@Souplaws), Paul Garson (@paulgarson13), and Rabbit Rye (@rabbit_rye).

In addition to these GA artist and vendor activations, VIP ticket-holders can also look forward to exciting new onsite amenities, including haircuts and shaves provided by San Antonio’s own tdK Barbershop along with hairstyling by Blo Dry Bar; massages by Massage Movil; Solaris the High Priestess tarot card readings, caricature portraits by Guantello, face painting, Drip Drive IVs, access to the VIP-only bathrooms, bars, food, and more. Ticket buyers of the “Fly Me to the Moon” VIP package can expect all of these elevated offerings in addition to exclusive viewing decks for both the Lone Star and The Beat stages, a half-court basketball area, charging stations, hookah lounge, a self-service candy bar; and more.

All attendees at this year’s event can expect free water stations thanks to HEB, located throughout the festival site, including an exclusive station inside the VIP area. Patrons are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles or camelbacks so long as they are empty upon entry.

Brand new to this year’s festival, Mala Luna is offering roundtrip shuttles from Austin & San Marcos. Those interested in travelling to the festival via shuttle can see schedule times and reserve their seats at The festival will also feature a dedicated ride-share drop-off location onsite at the event. Ride-sharers can direct their drivers to 2029 S Callaghan Road for the official drop-off site at the fest. Limited parking is also available on site for $20 (cash only) or fans can purchase in advance here to guarantee their spot.
