La Quinta Announces Completion of Renovations to San Antonio Downtown Location

IRVING, Texas (Oct. 11, 2017) - La Quinta Holdings Inc. (NYSE: LQ) announced the completion of an extensive renovation to the La Quinta Inn & Suites – San Antonio Downtown located at 100 W. Cesar Chavez Blvd.  The 151-room hotel now has a completely new interior and exterior that ensures guests an enhanced level of comfort and service whether traveling for business or leisure.  All guestrooms and common areas have been updated with a stylish, contemporary design that includes new furniture and linens, flooring, artwork, lighting and wall coverings. The hotel’s lobby has been fully transformed with the addition of modern check-in counters, comfortable seating areas and communal gathering table with charging stations where people can connect.   A Bright Side Market has been added offering snacks, quick meals, sundries and personal care items for guests who may have left an item behind or want an impulse item to eat or drink.

Complimentary Bright Side Breakfast is served each morning featuring scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, a rotation of bacon or sausage, freshly prepared oatmeal and toppings along with cereals, fresh fruit, waffles and muffins. The hotel’s fitness center was expanded with the latest exercise equipment, free weights and cardio machines.  Other features include an outdoor swimming pool, spacious meeting rooms, a guest print-station and high-speed internet access that is always free at all La Quinta hotels.
