Marylin Perkins |
SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 13, 2018) – San Antonians are in luck! Country music star Pat Green is coming home to celebrate St. Pat’s Day with a rousing performance at The Rustic, the restaurant and live music venue that he helped put on the map.

On Saturday, March 17, guests can don their green for the pre-party at The General Public in The RIM beginning at 5 p.m. and then shake their shamrocks over to The Rustic at 7 p.m. as the three-time Grammy nominee takes the stage for an unforgettable holiday performance.

Pat Green is a Texas troubadour that has become a cultural force across the country, selling out venues from the Houston Astrodome to the Nokia Theater in Times Square. Green’s explosive live shows have made him a fan favorite and a hot ticket, landing tours with the likes of Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney and Dave Matthews Band. Named “the Springsteen of the Southwest” in People magazine, Green has sold over two million albums, and has been nominated for three Grammy Awards.

“St. Patrick’s Day is one of my favorite holidays, and there’s no place I’d rather be than in my birthplace, playing at The Rustic,” said Green, a co-owner of the popular venue. “Country music under the big Texas sky combined with the luckiest day of the year … it doesn’t get much better than that.”

Green has made such an enduring impact on the country music scene that an all-star line-up of nationally renowned artists and the best-of-the-best in the Texas scene have come together to honor Green and his musical legacy with a tribute album – Dancehall Dreamin’: A Tribute To Pat Green. The album is scheduled to release on Green’s birthday April 5, but fans can pre-order the album beginning March 2.

Fans of the trailblazing troubadour can experience a powerful performance by the country legend during the St. Pat’s party in San Antonio. General Admission tickets are available for just $27 at Prekindle.com.
