Giraffes Serve Up Tall Orders

Chuck Cureau |

San Antonio Zoo® is taking breakfast to new heights, literally! The zoo is offering a new, exclusive dining experience where guests can have breakfast alongside giraffes. Every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., guests will have the chance to enjoy the most important meal of the day during Beastly Breakfast. This family friendly breakfast also features a private giraffe feeding, and the chance to meet the animal care specialists who care for them.

“Beastly Breakfast is a fun and unique experience for guests of all ages to enjoy,” said Tim Morrow, CEO and Executive Director. “Families can create one-of-a-kind memories by getting up-close to these magnificent animals. Guest will have the opportunity to share the zoo’s passion for animal care, education, and conservation, all while enjoying a delicious breakfast.”

This all-you-can-eat breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, a yogurt bar, an assortment of pastries, and refreshments. Guests can also capture the moment by taking photos of these gentle giants with their families.

Reservations for Beastly Breakfast are required and can be made online at www.sazoo.org. Tickets start at $25 for adults and $20 dollars for children three and older. Children two and under are free.
