Check in to Terror at Howl-O-Scream’s NEW Haunted House

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Sept. 26, 2019) – Between Friday, Sept. 27 and Sunday, Oct. 27, SeaWorld San Antonio has a Halloween thrill for everyone – from family-friendly fun to terror-fying haunts!  During the day, Spooktacular offers young guests fun shows and attractions that will entertain the whole family. Then as the sun sets, family thrills turn into frightening, spine-tingling chills during Howl-O-Scream, where suspense and surprises lurk around every corner. And for parents with kids, a special offer lets them indulge in all the festive fear of this ghoulish holiday, while the young ones enjoy the fun at SeaWorld San Antonio’s own Spook-Camp-ular.

Howl-O-Scream is known for its terrifying scare zones known as “Terror-tories.”  Think rollicking roller coaster rides in the dark, splashy live shows, and a NEW haunted house, Milton Creek Manor.

“Milton Creek Manor was a beautiful and lavish hotel that closed its doors after mysterious murders and gruesome events took place,” said Roland Garcia, SeaWorld San Antonio’s vice president of entertainment. “But many years later, the doors will be open again for brave guests who dare to walk the halls.  Many people will check in, but only a few will check out!”

Howl-O-Scream is not complete without returning favorite shows like Shamu’s Rockin’ Creepshow, where Shamu and companion orcas put a thrilling spin on favorite Halloween tunes, and the ever- popular Monster Stomp, a nighttime musical song and dance extravaganza with an eerie twist set in Ripper Row.

All haunted houses, shows and scare zones are included as part of regular SeaWorld admission. Those with an extra appetite for Howl-O-Scream horror can take advantage of upgrade opportunities that are available for a limited time only, including Fear Passes for priority haunted-house access and the Face Your Fears Tour – an exclusive, no-lines guided experience. Howl-O-Scream, and all its mayhem for mature park guests, comes to life at 7 p.m.

Those seeking not-so-scary Halloween hijinks can enjoy daytime fun starting at 10 a.m. with Spooktacular, SeaWorld’s kid-friendly entertainment designed for the whole family.  A hay maze, in-park trick-or-treating; and the Pet’s Ahoy Halloween show featuring adorable and talented rescue dogs, cats and other animals in a series of comical skits are just a few of the Spooktacular attractions.  NEW this year is the Sesame Street Halloween Parade featuring ten fantastic floats all decked out for the season! Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby and all their furry friends will have everyone joining in on the fun with performances about trick-or- treating and dressing up in costumes. Parents can also bring the kids to the Pumpkin Patch Picnic, where they will pick and decorate their own pumpkin, then enjoy a delicious barbeque lunch prepared by SeaWorld’s very own chefs.

To ensure kids can enjoy all the fun Spooktacular and Howl-O-Scream have to offer, SeaWorld is offering Spook-Camp-ular – a safe and fun-filled experience for children ages 5-13.  Available from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Howl-O-Scream evenings, Spook-Camp-ular lets parents enjoy all the horror that Howl-O-Scream has to offer while their kids enjoy games, crafts, animal presentations and snacks. Prices start at $30.
